I am an American photographer currently living on the beautiful island of Sicily. I hope to share my artistic endeavors, and a sampling of this exotic place and beyond through my photographs.

Motta Santa Anastasia Castle
I drive by this inspiring scene everyday. I realize that I seem to be posting only landscapes. At this point, I am completely absorbed with the beauty of this place. In every direction, something photo-worthy appears.
Ciao Heather! What an inspiring view & a beautiful shot. I understand how you feel about the beauty of Italy. I keep taking photos and after almost three years I'm still at it. I don't think I'll ever stop being impressed by the natural beauty of the landscape here! :-) Enjoy Sicilia!
I found your blog through Ciao Amalfi! and I'm so happy I did. Your photographs are beautiful, like Sicily, at once both luxurious and sparse. It's inspiring!
Have you been to visit the castle? The tour guide there (at least when I visited) is really friendly. She doesn't speak a word of English, but she tells a great story.
Thank you for the comments Laura and Emily....my first comments! I attended the medieval festival on and around the castle grounds. It was soooo fantastic! There were drums, fire catchers, great food and music...I highly recommend it.
