  1. Hi Heather!! Beautiful photo. I am going to have to Google Trapani. It reminds me of places in old films and even older paintings. The weather looks like it might take a turn in this shot which gives it this wonderful sense of immediacy and I feel like I am waiting to see what will happen next. Very cool.

  2. Trapani is famous for the production of sea salt. The wind mills were once used to help drain the salt pans of water so that the salt could begin its drying process in the hot Sicilian sun. Thanks for the comment!
