Villa Romana
I made the journey to Piazza Armerina and the Villa Romana over the Thanksgiving holiday. The villa is an active archaeological sight, and truly an inspiring place to visit.
That is a wonderful shot. I was there last May and I was just amazed and blown away by it. I tried to take pictures and I bought postcards and a book, but there is really no way to capture it and get the same feeling you get when you're there. Truly amazing.
